How much does the appraisal cost?
Our service is completely free. We will provide you with complimentary shipping as well as an appraisal at no cost to you. If you decline our offer we will ship your items back free of charge.
Can I back out of this if I want to?
Absolutely. There’s no obligation. If you don’t like the offer we send you, you have every right to decline it and have your pieces shipped back to you free of charge. The offer is only finalized if and when you accept it!
Are my items insured during transit?
We insure all of our Safepaks and Appraisal Kits in accordance with our Terms & Conditions which we recommend reading before shipping your material. Our Safepaks and Appraisal Kits were designed with the intent of keeping your valuables safe throughout the entire shipping process. You will be able to track your shipment throughout every step of the process until it arrives at our facility which is constantly monitored by closed-circuit security cameras.
If I decline my offer, will it cost me anything to get my items back?
Absolutely not. If you decline our offer we’ll return your item to you free of charge without any hassle.
How long does it take to get paid?
Payment can be made in as little time as 24 hours after signing up. It all depends on the type of shipping you choose, when you ship out your item(s), your payment preference (ie. check vs. PayPal) and how quickly you accept your offer. All of these factors contribute to the speed in which your valuables can be appraised and purchased. Payments are issued for offers accepted before 3:00 PM EST that same day. Offers accepted after 3:00 PM EST will be issued go the following business day.
How do payments work?

A check via First Class USPS mail (no fee) A print-at-home-check ($5 fee)
A check via FedEx Express (2-3 days, $15 shipping fee)
A check via FedEx Overnight (next day, $25 shipping fee)
PayPal (a 3.49% transaction fee + $0.50 service fee charged by PayPal, not us)

What if I am not happy with my offer?
If you’re not satisfied with our offer, simply deny it and we’ll promptly return your valuables to you free of charge. Cash for Gold USA will cover the cost of shipping.
Can I ship in my valuables using my own label?
We strongly suggest you utilize our complimentary shipping labels and our insurance as it allows for a smoother transaction and easier trackability. However, if you insist on shipping your item(s) to our facility yourself, we recommend insuring your package for the necessary and estimated value. You will also want to ship your package with a trusted carrier like USPS or FedEx that allows you to track your package.
Do you guys buy broken gold jewelry pieces?
As long as it contains gold, silver, diamonds, or platinum, we will purchase it. The material’s value is based on its weight and purity, not its condition.
